loop4d helps runners and cyclists plan when to do a route for the best shade, sun and wind. It is built to need as little of your data as possible — the analysis runs on your own device.
Nothing personal. loop4d has no sign-in or account. We do not collect your name, email, location history, contacts, or device identifiers, and we have no analytics or advertising trackers.
When you open or import a GPX route, it is read and analysed locally on your device. Your GPX files are not uploaded to us or stored on our servers.
To compute shade, sun and weather, the app fetches public data directly from third-party providers. These requests necessarily include the geographic coordinates of the route you're analysing (so the right map tiles and forecast can be returned), but no personal identifiers, and we do not receive or store them:
Each provider processes those requests under its own privacy policy. We don't combine this data with any identity.
The app may cache map tiles and computed results on your device so it loads quickly and works offline. This stays on your device and you can clear it at any time by removing the app's data.
loop4d is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children. It collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
